If you want to walk all the Coniston Fells in one go, then this is the walk for you! Note that it’s not short and there’s plenty of ascent. Make sure you park where shown on the map, as this cuts out a lot of ascent from Coniston.

There’s lots of interesting things to see on the walk; the views, obviously, but also lots of old mine workings, Levers Water, tarns, Hardknott Pass and an aircraft crash site.

Just a small amount of easy scrambling, and a few sections where the paths are poor, but other than that nothing technically challenging.
