This is a truly epic walk! The climb up Lord’s Rake, across the West Wall Traverse and up Deep Gill was fantastic. There are one or two exposed parts so it won’t be for everyone, but you will not regret the experience (unless you fall off). Emerging from the inside of Sca Fell out into the daylight was awesome!
The chockstone at the top of Lord’s Rake didn’t look like it was going anywhere to me, but that’s not to say it won’t move at any moment, but it looked stable when I was there. UPDATE: The chockstone has since collapsed, and is now much more stable.
Do it in the dry as some of the rocks are pretty slippery. But most of all, just make sure (if you are not too bothered by heights) that you do it!
