Fantastic walk around the Newlands Horseshoe. As you progress you will be able to see large swathes of Lakeland, with views in all directions from your elevated position.
The weather was bright and clear, but with a very chilly wind on the tops, especially for the time of year. It’s a fairly tough walk with plenty of ascent, and there’s some scrambling to grade 1 on the descent of Robinson. That aside, you won’t find many better views, so it’s another one best left for a clear day.
It’s an effort, but you know what they say; ‘no pain, no gain’ 🙂
