After a great night at the Wasdale Head Inn I drove ‘around the corner’ to the Forestry Commission car park at Miterdale. The weather was overcast with the cloud down to about 500 metres, but rain wasn’t forecast so not all bad 🙂
There’s plenty of bog on the first half of the walk, although it’s not too deep you might want to wear gaiters. The second half of the walk along The Screes between the two tops is full of interest with great views.
It’s a nice walk, but probably better left to a clear day.
